Welcome to Seahaven (a BtF Interlude)
(This week I take a break, of sorts, from the Between the Falls series. Inspired by a deep dive into the work of KIRAC, I’ve decided it’s time for an interlude of images from our definitely-not-fake world. All of these crossed my newsfeed over the past week or so. Consider this a highly curated snapshot of our moment in time in Seahaven, the fictional town in “The Truman Show” movie. The captions should be read in a slightly robotic female voice that is both calming and unsettling, very much in the Uncanny Valley. Hear her as if she is the voice used on a spaceship to guide you into a capsule where, you are told, you’ll spend the next 3,000 years in a blissful sleep that will feel like an instant, and you will wake up to a glorious new garden planet.)
